Asia is the world’s largest continent. Comprised of 48 countries, which are all geographically divided into six regions (Northern Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Asia, Southern Asia, and South-East Asia) which practice a spectrum of various cultures and traditions worth experiencing.

Not only does the continent have a diverse culture, but it is also home to several attractions both natural and manmade. With plenty of sights to see, it is no wonder why some of the most visited destinations in the world are Asian countries.

This continent really has a lot to offer. From scenic views and picturesque landscapes to stunningly beautiful women, all these and more are why men from all over the world visit and experience Asia. Thus, to make the most out of your Asian excursion, here are the must-try activities and must-see places that you should strike off of your Asian bucket list:

• Ride a motorbike taxi during rush hour in Bangkok.

  With Bangkok being notorious for its heavy traffic, the fastest way to go around the city or reach any certain destination is through a motorcycle taxi. The standard fare is 25 Baht for the first two kilometers then an additional 5 Baht for the next three to five kilometers; however, you can negotiate with the driver for a more fixed rate. Motorbike taxi drivers are usually stationed in areas with a lot of commuters, such as outside of skytrains, department stores, sois, etc.

• Swim with whale sharks in the Philippines.

  From May to December, you can head on to the Philippines to swim alongside the world’s biggest fish: the whale sharks. These gentle giants frequent Tan-awan, Oslob in Cebu and in Donsol, Sorsogon during this period to feed on planktons and krill. To avoid harming yourself and the sharks, it would be best to swim at a reasonable distance and to refrain from feeding them. While these sharks are not violent, it’s best not to get close to avoid provoking them unnecessarily.

• Bask under the cherry blossoms in Japan.

  Springtime in Japan is the perfect opportunity to join a hanami, which is basically having a picnic under the canopy sakura trees. This is the best way to immerse yourself in the modern day conventional Japanese culture. Experiencing a particular country’s way of life is definitely a must-try when you travel abroad, and what better way to do so than by having a picnic under the beautiful cherry blossoms of Japan.

• Get tanned under Bali sun.

  Considering it is the largest archipelago in the world, it is no wonder Indonesia boasts incredible beaches—a number of which could be found in Bali. From Crystal Bay, Jimbaran, Kuta, and Legian, there are so many to choose from. Anyone of these beaches is perfect for a little sunbathing.

• Go island hopping in Palawan.

  Palawan is yet another Filipino island perfect for a tropical getaway. While there are plenty of things to do here, one of the more popular activities would have to be island hopping. After all, why visit just one spectacular beach when you can visit several of them? With such breathtaking attractions, it’s no wonder Palawan is considered a popular honeymoon destination in the country.

• Relax and unwind in Maldives.

  Do you need some R ‘n R? Then the Maldives is the perfect place to go. There are a number of spa resorts that cater to your mind and body. It also helps that the Maldives is generally peaceful and quiet, so it’s easy to relax and meditate the stress away. And when you’ve rested well enough, you can then explore all the sights the country has to offer.

• Fall in love with an Asian woman.

  Travelling is more fun when you’re with the right company. Whether you’re looking for love or just casually dating, you can’t go wrong in the company of Asian women. The best thing about the women in this continent is they are loving and conservative in nature.
